Most of its length runs through private land but through different programs like Alberta Conservation Association, Alberta Wildlife Federation, Government of Alberta, Trout Unlimited Canada, designated access points have been established. It is very important to respect the fences in the area as stay within the designated easements. Our respect determines their cooperation with allowing access to this stream. 

Fishing Tips for Stauffer Creek:

Approach the water with stealth and move slowly and quietly. These waters are clear and slow moving so there isn’t move for surface disruption to hide the angler from the fish. Be prepared to match the hatch, even if it is light. Scan sections for risers if prospecting, get close to undercut banks.
