This weekend, Alberta is bracing for a major weather system expected to deliver between 50โ100+ mm of rain, triggering flash flood risks and pushing river levels well beyond seasonal norms.

Rainfall Warning in Effect
Environment Canada has issued warnings across the province.
Bow River at Calgary
Flows are already well above normal for this time of year and trending upward again.

Numerous High Streamflow Advisories remain in effect for:
- Red Deer River Basin (upstream and downstream of Dickson Dam)
- Bow River Basin
- Sheep, Oldman, and South Saskatchewan Rivers
